About me
I am a Postdoc in the Artificial Intelligence Group, led by Matthias Thimm at the FernUniversität in Hagen, Germany.
I received my PhD degree in computer science from the FernUniversität in Hagen in 2025. Between 2019 and 2021 I was a research assistant at the University of Koblenz-Landau. I studied computer science at Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf Germany, where I obtained my Master degree (2019) and my Bachelor degree (2017).
My research focuses on symbolic AI, particularly formal models of knowledge representation and non-monotonic reasoning. I take an interest in these topics from both a conceptual and an algorithmic perspective. I am particularly interested in computational complexity questions within this field. I have published several papers on formal argumentation, focusing on:
- Semantics for abstract argumentation frameworks and their generalisations

- Uncertainty
- Computational complexity
- Connection to computational social choice
- Connection to conditional logic
